I'd be more disappointed that I don't get to go see The Hobbit today, but to tell the truth I'm just so thrilled by all the snow piling up around me that it's hard to be too sorry. Bilbo will still be there when the plows have come by.

I'll be disappointed for you, then. ;) I won't be able to see it again for a while, as I currently have about 3 dollars to my name, so now I'm sort of reliving it vicariously through all the other people in the world who are seeing it for the first time. I want everybody to just have seen it already!

Yes, snow has the remarkable ability to make sitting home with your hot beverage and book/movie/game of choice and watching the snow a lot better than anything that involves leaving the building (no matter how awesome).

Now when it snows, part of me will sometimes think "Oh god, it's snowing! I'm going to have to walk to the store and back in the snow."
Reading this made me smile, because it made me remember being a kid and having said "All right, it's snowing! Let's go walk on the mountain for a couple of hours!"

I would gladly trade my ticket to The Hobbit today for a nice bit of snow. All we're having here is rain. Why can't it be a few degrees colder!

I could go for some snow here. I could really stand to stay in today, but I've got things planned with someone that I've been looking forward to, and without better reason to cancel than "I am le tired", I'm going to go through with them, even tho I know there will be longer term costs.
