Hey, Y'all!

My cooking days fast approach, and I'm completely out of ideas. What the heck should I make for dinner tomorrow?

Meat and veggie pie. Very simple, very tasty. Brown a ground meat of your choice; mix with a can of veggies and a can of cream-of-something soup; add pepper blend to taste; put in a dish with pie dough beneath and pie dough on top (the boxes of pie dough come in twos!); cook at 400 until crust browns. Delicious.

I did that one tonight! Thanks for the suggestion. I've been enjoying Deeper'n'Ever pies recently (and yeah, hooray for pie crusts coming in twos!), and this was a nice variation!

Oo, what meat/veggies did you choose? (And you can do it with Cream Of Anything, even.) I usually go with ground beef and some very nice young peas, but sometimes I use ground lamb or turkey.

I also tend to run a layer of cheese crumbles at the bottom, but that's a bit extra-cheesey for those of us who love cheese. Like me.

Ground turkey and mixed frozen peas, carrots, corn, and green beans, along with some sauteed mushrooms and onions. I considered adding cheese, but the cheese we have right now is all WEIRD cheese. (I always cheese up the Deeper'n'Evers, though.) And I went with Cream of Celery. It was quite good with a bit of Mrs. Dash tossed in!

Excellent! I really like using the Penzey's stuff with my mixes; California Pepper blend with the beef, Italian Herb with the lamb or turkey.
