The two shows are different on a lot of levels, but it's got something in common with Animaniacs in that a lot of the dialogue is designed for grownups while the show is slapsticky and silly enough for kids.

I think Momo must be, too, but I'm not good at judging drawings. I like that her pigtails seem to be rigid ball-joint units with involuntary controls, though.
