I Am A Tiger

Oh, Taegeuk Sa Jang, how I’ve missed you. Satisfy my love for the back stance.

You could probably make some sort of psychological case about how I like the back stances better than the front stances, but I mostly enjoy it because it’s so much fun to step into a forward stance from the back. It’s like you’re winding up for the spring.

I’m still the evil one in Tae Kwon Do, by the way, but they assure me that my uniform should be here in the next week or two. The blue lightsaber, however, may take longer, so for now I’ll have to go with my evil red one. I’m sure they’ll understand.

I think the back stance is satisfying because at first it makes you look like you're vulnerable, and you use the blind spot that vulnerability presents to turn it into a strength. It's like, yeah, I am confident enough that I can defend like th-didn't expect that, did you?
