I have invented a new way to do tae kwon do forms!*

 

I call it Trying To Do Forms The Normal Way While Your Stupid Cat Decides That This Is A Perfect Time To Braid Itself Around Your Legs.

 

It involves a lot of shoving the cat around with your foot between steps and kicks.

 

It may take me a while to translate that into proper Korean, though.

 

 

*The forms—choreographed blocks, kicks, etc.—have always been one of the most grueling aspects of tae kwon do for me because I can never remember them.  I have this remarkable tendency to start in one and end in a different one.  But they’re good meditative motion, as the Dude’s test reminded me this weekend, so I’m going for it again.
