Gah. Pixels.  Enormous chunks of academia written.  I plan to only write stupid things for a couple of days.

Except for my stories. Those are smart, dammit.

So, while I’m sitting around glassy-eyed mumbling something about sexist carrots,* enjoy some science.  T. rex was indeed a killer bird! Possibly with feathers!

Must you remind us of Dinotopia?!?*

I thought you were a decent person.

*Okay, I liked the first book, but the TV show? Gah.

I am definitely a purist. The first picture book is the only one worthwhile, with a VERY slim case to be made for the other two picture books. It was pretty and had nice illustrations, and the world was nicely built. The latter two books are like that, (with updated dinosaurs!) only they suffer from an attempted plot injection that fails miserably.

I saw the little novels and heard about the TV show, swiftly concluded DO NOT WANT, and left them the hell alone.

Good to know I was right.

The TV show would really have benefited from the presence of Joel or Mike and the Bots. ( then again... what wouldn't benefit from M/J and the Bots? )

Is that where Lee Crabb hangs out?
