You know, if there'd been an unfortunate accident bringing down one of their McChurches while they'd all been in there, I'd have been all for throwing a party for everyone they've ever known to celebrate their return to life. It would have been beautiful. I think their wives and children would have wept tears of joy at knowing they weren't going to be getting controlled, hit and yelled at by some macho prick with a God complex.

Reacting against fear that much is still letting it run their lives, no matter how much they're trying to kill their brains and hearts to make it easier for them to lie to themselves about it.

Nothing says "Love thy neighbor" and "turn the other cheek" like "MONSTER TRUCK RALLY SUNDAY, SUNDAY, SUNDAY...!"
