I haven't tried to make a ginger beer with a chili pepper in it yet, but I've had them before and they're pretty good.

One year in college my buddies and I did a taste test of the Jones Thanksgiving flavors. The other flavors were unpleasant (except for cranberry), but the winner for Worst Thing Ever was the Brussels sprouts flavor. It even SMELLED so awful that we had to put the cap back on the bottle, tightly, to avoid gagging.
