Oh, the joys of glasses shopping. Last time I went, I brought my mother-in-law and a camera, so she could give advice and take pictures that weren't horrible out-of-focus and too-up-close. I checked the photos both in the shops and later back home, to decide on which pair to get.
But no need to do something different every time. If you like what you've got getting something similar works just as well! So congrats on the new specs, and shades.
(I have never been able to keep a pair of sunglasses beyond a few days at worst or for the length of an average holiday at best, so I'm hesitant about ever getting prescription ones. Seriously, most of them end up in a suitably exotic ocean somewhere.)
