This book I'm reading just referred to "H.R. Lovecraft."

Which made me think: in the world of horrible artist hybrid monster mashups, I must admit that a combination of HP Lovecraft and HR Giger would be pretty damn terrifying.

Probably more disturbing actually. (Giger's already indebted to Lovecraft: his famous book of paintings that included the one that inspired "Alien" is titled "Necronomicon", IIRC)

Yeah, the Lovecraft-Giger connection is why I'm guessing it was so easy for this writer to come up with the wrong initials.

I saw something involving HR Puffenstuf when I was three, and swore I would have nothing to do with it. I have kept that vow.
