Important Skywatching Update

Last night I found Castor and Pollux! This ups my individual-star-findability to Sirius, Regulus, Polaris, Castor, and Pollux! I also added some more constellations to the list, though I can't name the other individual stars in them yet. Progress!

Neat! I think I might have to take up this similar hobby over the summer. LaPine has fantastic sky when it's not cloudy. I only know how to identify Orion and the Big Dipper. I'm surprised Utah is having clear sky after your thundersnow outbreak.

Have you ever heard of Stellarium? I think you'll find it really cool. I downloaded it once, but I never used it so I deleted it. It was a fantastic program for displaying the stars in your area, labeling the visible stars, and labeling the constellations. You can disable the little phony horizon so you can see what stars are visible on the opposite side of the world, too.

How is your cousin doing? You haven't updated on his head injury from what I've seen. I hope he's okay.
