I prefer to make my sauces without a recipe, using whatever I can find that might conceivably be interesting, so that each one is unique. This one looks like pretty standard goodness, though. I can understand the cinnamon. Cinnamon goes with everything. Cloves seem like too much pungence though. I would also throw in a handful of jalapeƱos and a couple of habaneros, because I like the spicy. Alternately, the chilis can be worked into the meatballs, if you chop them finely enough.
