You know, after a certain point I started thinking that her books were more like fanfiction of her first...say five? books.

I mean, at the start her stories had promise, the world was interesting, the heroine wasn't perfect and the vampire/shifter mythos were decently thought out (and I could totally see vampires getting rights before shifters, I mean, centuries to follow laws...for that matter could you imagine a vampire lawyer? (I was there when the law was written you whippersnapper!) no contest) and then...

There was porn. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind porn but when I'm sitting down expect a battle between the forces of darkness and guns blazing and Edward(!), who deserves a mention all on his own, and I get porn I'm at least a little discombobulated. (and hey, I spelled that correctly first try, go me)

I tried some of the books later in the series cause I figured hey, switch from mayhem to smut, new category in my brain...
And came across uber-princess powers activate Anita!

...at that point I shook my head and went you so crazy.
