There was one day when they looked much less happy because I was trying to teach them to get water from deeper in the soil. They seem to have figured it out, though. ;)
I will remember that--I kind of want to do a few more plants now (and then a few more, and ...), and I rather like the idea of getting enough herbs, spices, and vegables to justify calling it a Spaghetti Sauce Farm. (Though the cinnamon might present, y'know, a problem ...)
