A lot of the problem is we needed to fund things earlier so now we're stuck. Bush's administration had plans, but didn't toss any money at NASA, and I think now even if we toss money at it, there will still be a gap. Of course, there are plans out there, so saying 'Okay, now here's the deal -- we'll be out of commission for a bit, but we're working on this neat thing' would be good. Get Obama to speechify -- he's good at that. Mention about jobs in the aerospace industry.
