One of the reasons I love Kel so much is because she and I are both HUGE Alanna fan girls. Like Alanna will always be my hero, but I feel like I could be total BFF with Kel, and we would geek out over Alanna's latest exploit while talking about boys.

Amen to that! :) I loved Alanna and Daine, but Kel is definitely my favorite main character from the Tortall books. :D

Also, she does martial arts, which makes me happy.
