Fuck the reviews! Seriously, the less you know about the film, the better. I knew pretty much nothing about it (other than a general buzz saying it's great, which is true), and by the power of Greyskull, I was blown away! And I've only a casual interest in SF movies, so for me to fall completely in love with one is pretty big. Also, I only know two people who have seen it (random strangers on Twitter doesn't count), I need more people to gush with! XD
