She's an author who lives around here, which does something to yer brain it seems. She's done some good stuff as an environmentalist, but her writing is heavy-handed and pompous and frankly drives me crazy--it's very Henry David Thoreau-esque, wich also happens a lot down here. Something in the water, maybe. Or lack thereof.
