We should start some sort of synesthesia anti-defamation organization. I can imagine the rallies:

"WHAT DO WE WANT?!"
"A PROPERLY INFORMED PUBLIC!!"
"WHEN DO WE WANT IT?!"
*crowd dissolves into argument over what color "now" is*

All we need now is clever name.
