I just feel it’s important to let y’all know:  ninjakitten is awesome. She responded to my invite to have someone come along for support, and not only did she watch me get the whole thing done--she also had lunch with me before and went grocery shopping with me afterward! (My life is glamorous.) Verily, she doth rock.*

It looks terrific. I went with a henna color, instead of straight black. I’ll get pictures once I take off the bandage! Thanks, everyone, for your input! 

Also, on the way out of the parlor I totally bumped into The Enigma trying to get through the door. I said “Oh, hey, it’s Enigma,” and he turned and waved at me. I could have said something wittier, but I’d just spent an hour having ink carved into my back. Gimme a break, willya?


*And a special harrumph to most of the rest of my local meatspace friends, only two or three of whom summoned the apparently astronomical amount of energy it took to even give a shit. Not that I am bitter.
