Statistics were the same way, when I had Stats/Pre-Calc in High School, it was so much gibberish. When I took *takes a deep breath* Fundamentals of the Physiology of Human Brain and Introductory Statistical Methodology for Psychological Applications" (aka Fundies for Psych) it was still so much gibberish.

Three years later when I took "Stats for Dummies" as my math requirement, it all made sense. I got a B and was quite proud of myself.

Also, you damn kids and your scrolls! We had clay tablets, and we liked it that way!
