Kenya Dig It? ~ Land of Hyperbole

Two Complaints/Jokes That Haven't Worked For Me For Three Months

1. "Jeez, it's taking forever to get dinner cooked. Did you have to go out to the field and pick the grain first, or what?"

2. "You're going to the bathroom? Don't fall in!"

Why, sure! *friends back*

I'm in an intensive study abroad program, and we're on the last two weeks of our 3 1/2 month stay. It's been pretty amazing. And a few of the students are considering returning in the Peace Corps.

It's amazing that you have Internet connections there.

My grand-daughters traveled in India and Hungary and sometime had to really hunt for connectivity. The coffeeshops and hotel lobbies of most of Europe proved quite convenient to most of their travels though. I have never traveled outside the US, and love to hear of other people's adventures -- not the fancy kind my generation usually takes -- I like the authentic adventures into the places where the people really live.
