One. There are seventeen of us, with one African-American and one Latina. And yes, she had different experiences. she was thrilled to be in the majority for a change, and fits in a lot more comfortably. She's still an outsider, being an American, but she's less obvious. It's not always an advantage, though--she pointed out that we still get served before she does, and it frustrates her.
